Biography and film for Award laureate

The Isa Award for Service to Humanity has been instituted to honor these exceptional people. Also, it celebrate their selfless and tireless efforts to create a better world for the future generations.

The program was established in 2009 by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa – the King of Bahrain.

The Isa Award is granted every two years to either individuals or organizations who have been selected through a grueling process by an expert panel of jurists.

In 2015, it was awarded to Dr. Achyuta Samanta for his visionary contribution towards educating the underprivileged sections of the society.

Brief

Our aim was to capture the essence of Dr. Samanta’s beautiful journey in the most realistic manner possible.

Dr. Samanta is widely described as a living legend because of his own miraculous journey out of poverty. Also, for his relentless quest to help those experiencing abject poverty, ignorance and neglect.

The script for the film and the content of the book had to communicate the beautiful story of his life in the most realistic manner possible.

Process

At the heart of this project was the 12-day shooting trip in Odisha, India.

The team dived into the heart and soul of Dr. Achyuta Samanta’s mission. The team includes professional cinematographers, script writers, editors, photographers and art directors.

All the frames to narrate the story were collected then post-production was done in our in-house studio in Bahrain.

Result

The resultant film and book became an important brand asset to the laureate.

Out of this project came a high-quality state-of-the-art film that was well acclaimed in the industry. It became an important brand asset to the Isa Award for Service to Humanity as well as Dr. Achyuta Samata’s mission.
